Privacy
This page covers the website. The app has its own privacy policy, linked below.
This website
There are no accounts on this site, no sign-up, no newsletter and no forms. You can read every page, including all the practice material, without giving us anything.
What is collected
- Anonymous usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get read and which do not, so we know what to write next. It records things like the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you used. It does not tell us who you are.
- Standard server logs kept by our host, Vercel, as part of serving the site.
What is not collected
- No names, email addresses or phone numbers — there is nowhere to enter them.
- No audio. Nothing on this website records or listens to anything.
- No advertising trackers, and no data sold or shared with advertisers.
Links out
Some pages link to the App Store, Google Play and other websites. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy, not ours.
Turning analytics off
Any browser-level tracking protection or ad blocker will stop the analytics script from loading, and the site works exactly the same without it. Nothing on this site depends on being measured.
The app
The Help Me Talk app is a separate matter — it does record your child’s voice in order to score pronunciation, so its privacy policy is the one that matters if you use the app. It is published here:

The app’s terms — including subscription pricing, renewal and how to cancel — are at app terms of use.
Children
This website is written for parents and carers, not for children, and it is not designed to be used by a child unsupervised. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, of any age.
