Using this site

Everything here is free to read and free to use with your own child, your own class or your own caseload. Print the word lists, put them on a clipboard, use them in a session — that is what they are for.

What we ask is that you do not republish whole pages as your own content or scrape the site wholesale. If you want to quote a section or link to a page, please do, and a link back is appreciated.

What the content is

The guides, milestone information and sound pages on this site are general educational information for parents and carers. They are not clinical advice, they are not a diagnosis, and they are not tailored to your child.

Help Me Talk is a practice app, not a diagnosis or a replacement for a licensed speech-language pathologist. If you are worried about your child’s speech, talk to your doctor or an SLP — this app is for the practice in between.

We check what we publish against the sources we cite and we correct things when they are wrong — email usefz89@gmail.com if you find something. But we cannot promise a page is complete or current for your situation, and decisions about your child’s health are yours to make with a qualified professional.

Prices and other apps

Where this site quotes a price — ours or another app’s — it was accurate on the date shown at the bottom of that page, for the storefront named. App prices change, differ by country, and go on sale. Always check the current price in the store before you buy anything.

Comparisons with other apps are based on their public store listings and published pricing at the time of writing. Other products and company names belong to their owners, and mentioning them here does not imply any relationship between us.
